Every Friday night in Sydney, during Australia’s COVID-19
lockdown, Evanthia would make a cocktail after a long week working in a microbiology laboratory and post it on
social media.
Deciding to make cocktails inspired by the destinations of her cancelled travel plans, Evanthia caught the attention of her longlost university friend, Mario, who now lives on the other side of the world.
From his home in Milton Keynes, England, which was also under a strict lockdown, Mario couldn’t resist challenging Evanthia to create a cocktail to remind him of his many trips to Italy. And so began a virtual adventure around Europe, not complete without witty banter, travel tidbits, and a whole lot of fun. Oh, and delicious drinks, of course!
